새해에 복 많이 받으세요!

It's the Year of the Monkey!

새해에 복 많이 받으세요! Aka Happy New Year! I'm currently begining my five day weekend. I don't have mad plans yet. I'm supposed to meet one of my friends on Sunday, but other than that I'm just chillin' out in my homestead. Damn...I must get some plans together!

Anyhow here's some pictures from the day that was.

Nick carrying out his duties as classroom garbageman. These duties included wearing a hat made of a piece of rolled construction paper.

Nick and Eric proving that they are ready to rock!

Thi girl is Heidi she is one of my students...my mother wanted a picture of me with my class. This picture is the best I could come up with at this time.

Here is Lydia. She is a twin, and when she walks she shuffles her feet. She is friends with Kristy, for the reason that both of them are named Ji-young (지영).

Ah story time...a time when a young man's mind turns to things such as shadow puppets...or "The City" (that's the story that is being viewed). Eric was in a trance because of this video projection screen. I'm not sure why.

I guess my students were feeling the dance...I have no idea why they decided during computer class to break it down. Whatever it's all good.

Um...when did I grow a mustache? Oh now I remember this was from the day I discovered that dry board marker could wash off skin with ease. So in conclusion, moustache: totally fake!

Here's why it's a bad idea to draw a mustache on your face in front of your students...

Here are Helen and Kayla attending my awesome extra classes on Tuesday and Thursday...why oh why must they attend class. Dave's students don't attend extra classes so he gets to go home early...ㅋㅋㅋ
Anyhow they are good and we have fun on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so it's not a big deal. I think this picture was taken shortly before Helen's admission that Lee Hyo-ri (이효리) was her favorite singer. This prompted Kayla to draw pictures of ladies cleevage as a reason why she didn't like Lee Hyo-ri. These drawings led both to tell about how their dad's tried to look at ladies in the public bath...I was never so thankful that the bell rang to signify the end of class as at that time.

Here are Simon and Stacy taken during "Winter School" aka work until 7 everynight School. Anyhow Stacy is not technically my student. She belongs to Dave, but somehow since she was his only student to want to go she got to be in my class and he gets to go home at 4:30...lucky bastard!
