만두 (Mandu)

So the other day I ate some 만두 (mandu). What pray-tell is mandu you ask? This, my friend, is mandu...


This is 만두 (mandu). Know in the west as dumplings or wantons, they can be filled with any manner of things. This particular batch was filled with kimchi, and some meat. Other filling include meat, fish, noodles, vegetables, and any possible combination of those items.


This is soy sauce for dipping mandu in. Being Korea, it's kicked up with powder made from dried red peppers, and some sesame seeds.
