My Mother and Aunt Visit Korea: Day 1

So my mother and aunt arrived in Korea today.


Here's the board announcing the arrival of my family (it was another 30 minutes or so before I saw my mother).

While waiting for my mother to go through immigration, some young Japanese women asked me to take a picture. I assumed they wanted me to snap a photo of them together at the airport, but it turned out that one of them wanted to take a picture with me. So in a week or two somewhere in Japan there will be a lady with a picture of me wearing my A Bathing Ape shirt and weilding my man purse...I'm not sure what went down there.


Here I am with my mother at Incheon International Airport. She paid me a visit in June of 2004. 난 우리 엄마랑 인천공항에서 있어. 우리 엄마가 2004년 6월에 한국에 도착했어요.

After checking them into a hotel, I took my mom and aunt to my house. We then met up with U-rim and she and I took my mom and aunt to a 갈비집 (a grilled meat resturaunt) for dinner, which required a trip through 신촌.


Here's a picture of some streets in Shinchon. It's a college area and pretty much is Party Town, South Korea. This photo was taken during my mom and aunt's visit to Seoul. Can you spot the back of my head?
