난 스파이더맨이야!

Spiderman.
Hey hey! Well I have two more days of "work" left before my vacation. I say "work" because in reality today and tomorrow consist of little more than snacks and what will probably be way too much Bingo! Bingo! So I don't real have to do anything other than be like, "Jiwoo, do you want some juice?" "몰라요..." "Do you want some juice?" "너를 싫어..." "Here have some juice bitch!"
Other than that, my other task will be along the lines of "B - Tree!" "O - Lion!" "YAWN~~~~~I - Truck..."
So I don't really have much teaching to do, but it's going to be a long day to say the least. Yesterday was U-rim's day off, so after we ate dinner (Korean style shabu-shabu) and she debated for like 20 minutes about weather or not purchase some shirt, we went to the movies intending to see Shrek 2.
Upon our arrival Shrek had already started 5 minutes prior...and in this country that means you can no longer purchase a ticket (it's the third time this has happened to me). The only movie that had not started yet was Spiderman 2. I was never a huge fan of Spiderman in spite of my comic book geekdom, and I was not sure U-rim would be a fan of a big, dumb, summer action flick (based on the type of movies and television shows she watches at my house), but we went anyway.
The movie was surprisingly enjoyable and was not only action packed, but was also fairly funny in some spots. I guess it had a decent love story, but I don't really go in for that kind of junk. U-rim really liked it (probably more than me, which is alright).
On the way back home there were some really loud and annoying Korean-Americans on the bus. I have clearly been in this country too long, since I like the Koreans (who were born and live in Korea) turned around and glared at them as they yelled incredibly loudly to their friends in the front of the bus, and spoke on the phone to another Korean-American (who could have probably heard the girl without the aid of a phone).
As a quick aside, the subway workers are on strike now, and according the U-rim (who phoned this in about an hour ago) the trains are extremely slow, with 10 minute or longer waits to transfer...perhaps I won't get to watch Judge Judy after all this morning....
