Hong Kong Trip: Day 3

The begining of our third day in Hong Kong. Check out the awesome shirt I scored the previous day for 15 Hong Kong dollars ($1.50US / 2,000won)

This item proved to me that I'm becoming a Korean. So first off, our resturant served us breakfast, buffet...no no, a la carte style. Kimchi was one of the things avalible, so like any good Korean I help myself to some...big mistake! No not eating kimchi for breakfast (I do that often), eating this particular kimchi.
Kimchi is a lot like wine. There's good kimchi like there's good wine, and like wine, kimchi is better aged. Here's where Wyatt Dunn is a Korean. I've gotten to the point where I can distinguish the good stuff from the crap, I have a favorite kind of kimchi (it 깍두기 if you're keeping track), and I eat it with nearly every meal (kimchi is not present when western food is however...though I have had a kimchi pizza).

We got yelled at for trying to take this picture. Originally, U-rim was seated in the assistant manager's chair. He came and told us not to sit there, But sitting in the chair on the other side of the desk was ok, so with some trick photography (we turned the sign around) we made it appear that U-rim is an assistant manager of a hotel in Hong Kong. Please note the crazy toy monkey she is holding. That was one of our purchases while shopping in Stanley. The monkey is named Agerr.

We then headed off for a little shopping before we left Hong Kong.

This guy was in our tour group, and was pretty insane. He was extremely random in his actions and was all about speaking to me with his limited English. He was a really funny guy.

After the shopping time, we headed back to the airport and prepared to head back to Korea.

This item was for sale at a drug store in the airport in Hong Kong. I'm not sure what mosquitos have to do with the male sex organ, but whatever...

This robot was in the boarding area of the airport in Hong Kong. This was the last picture we took in Hong Kong. After that it was onto the plane and off to the land of morning calm...大韓民國 clap clap...clap clap clap!
