Happy Chusok!
Yesterday was offically Chusok. U-rim did not have work, so we spent the whole day together. We started to day with lunch at Sorento's, which is an Italian resturuant. It's been awhile since I've had Italian food so it was rocking.

After lunch U-rim and I boarded a subway and headed to Myeongdong for some shopping, and to take pictures of random crap...which of course meant bad English (check the archieves)!
After spending some time in Myeongdong we headed to Hye-hwa (which is a college area). U-rim picked up some old school snacks, akin to what she ate during her childhood and I pretended to take a shit...check it out.

Taking a shit at Hye-hwa.
And after a brief visit to Hye-hwa it was off to the Han River Park. At the park we drank some beer, flew some kites, and lit off some fireworks.

Token artsy shot. Kites at Hangang.

꽝!
After partying at the park, U-rim and I took a night-time cruise on the Han River.

U-rim and the Seoul skyline...man my camera sucks.

My honey.
After the ride was finished, we headed home. On the way to the subway station, U-rim and I encountered this dog, and U-rim wanted to take her picture with it, so here it is...

An atypical dog in Korea. We saw him at the Han River Park.
Back at the shack we cooked some 김치전 (kimchi-jeon) which is kind of like a kimchi pancake. It probably sounds a little gross, but it is really delicious.
