A Shitty Day.

Well, today was not actually a shitty day, and bare with me for a while and the joke will come. So today I began the day by destroying my mp3 player. Now this was an mp3 that had been in steady decline for awhile now. First the battery compartment broke and had to be held together with tape, next the neck strap broke as did the headphones. Then it was the the replacement headphones. And after that the armstrap to hold it on my massive bicep as I run around Seoul like a jackass. Well today it was something serious. I went to plug in the firewire, but couldn't...I looked, and lo and behold, all the pins were broken. So the player can play, but there is no way to change the tunes in it. So until Wednesday or this weekend, I stuck listening to (in no particular order): Juju Club (bizzare Korean pop-rock), Unroot (which may or may not be a Korean hardcore band...I can't tell due to the near vommiting delivery of the vocals), Popstore (Korean emo), The Trax (a Korean glam rock band), and an assload of North Korean tunes.
Anyhow today I went to work, where aside from seeing a kindergarten girl wearing a vest proclaiming "Before You Metal," not much went down.
After work I went to my calligraphy class, and seriously got my calligraphy on. It's to the point where now I can actually write some crap, other than random lines. Look at this 了 (마칠 료). It means finished, or completed.

Some more calligraphy.

After practicing my calligraphy for a little over an hour, I headed over to Kyobo Bookstore, with one goal in mind...to purchase books about shit! And let's just say, mission accomplished! Check out these awesome photos.

Some shitty books.

More shit.

Who Shit On My Head? In all fairness this is originally from Germany, but then again, I didn't see any cat in the hat in translation, so there you go...
