정민누나, 生日축하합니다!

Yesterday was our friend Jeongmin's birthday, so you know what that means...drinking some beer and eating some Korean style cake! Woohoo! Anyhow I was really surprised in how much I could understand as compared to the last time U-rim and I met with her friends. Additionally when I spoke Korean they seemed to understand it without U-rim having to translate from my mangled kindergarten gangster style Korean to grammatically correct Korean.

Happy Birthday Jeongmin.

Wtf?

Anju and U-rim.

After the party U-rim and I caught the last train home, but apparently the last train home doesn't go to our home, so we got dumped in some random subway station (I think one of the Euljiros [을지로]). After the trains have stopped, that station turned into a hobo stronghold. There were tons of homeless people kickin' it in the station with some sweet cardboard box forts. I wanted to take a picture, but U-rim said no...perhaps next time I am chillin' out in a subway late at night I'll get that picture. Anyhow we had to catch a cab home, which was a feat, since U-rim was asking (instead of telling) the cab driver if they could go to our home. Since in terms of a cab ride it was close no one wanted to take us...so I told her to get in the cab first and then tell them where to go...it took a minute to get a ride at that point. Anyhow I'm off to shower and then head off to my top secret work that I do on Saturday afternoons.
