냄비 분식
On Thursday, U-rim and I went to go get some lunch before I had to head off to work. He headed over to our favorite 분식집 only to find the owner outside and some dudes taking tables away in a truck. U-rim asked him what was up, and this is what I understood: the resturaunt was closing, because of one of two things he was opening a barbeque place and would be too busy or due to the 분식집 he was too busy, so he was opening a barbeque place instead. Either way we were out of luck for lunch. We wandered around and looked at other 분식집s until we ultimately decided on one. I don't recall the name, but it was awesome. The majority of the items they served came in some sort of hot pot. Be it 돌솥 or 냄비 or some crazy cauldron looking pot, everyone was eating out of a pot. U-rim and I ordered up some cheese ramen and some pork thing....the name of which escapes me (something 제육).

Cheese ramen, cooked and served in a pot. I told one of my Korean friends that I ate my ramen like this at home, which caused her to proclaim, "Yes, it is more delicious that way." I agreed, though in reality the reason I ate my ramen that way is because there's one less dish to wash. Anyhow cheese ramen is normal ramen only a slice of cheese is added at the end. The cheese gives the ramen a smooth, creamy taste, and it's quite delicious.

Pork, vegetables, rice, and of course gochu jang in a hot stone bowl. Damn delicious.
The resturaunt won our seal of approval, and we will more than likely dine there again.
