디카 (Dica) Madness

Yesterday I went out with U-rim intending to purchase a VCR/DVD player. However, I saw some shop having a huge sale on Sony products, including digital cameras. Now, I've been looking to upgrade my camera for awhile now. The camera I'd been working with was fairly cheap when I bought it two years ago, so needless to say, I was time for a new camera.
So I picked up an awesome Sony Cybershot camera and bagged the VCR/DVD player. I think this weekend I may have to go to a touristy place to give my camera a real test run. For the time being, here's a picture of one of my students that I took today while they were writing in their journals.

In additionally, due to the watching of Titanic, U-rim has become obsessed with Leonardo DiCaprio. This is par for the course for her. Pretty much any movie she watches causes her to become obsessed with the movie star (example: after watching Spiderman 2 she became obsessed with Tobey McGuire and we ended up watching things like Pleasantville and um...Spiderman 1).
So like I said she's currently hooked on Leo (a far cry from her earlier proclaimation of her hatred for him). So yesterday she was hunting on the Leonardo DiCaprio/Claire Danes version of Romeo and Juliet, but came up empty handed, so she ended up getting Gangs of New York...which was totally awesome! That movie is totally outstanding, and I'm not just saying that because I was a history major. That movie has some outstanding battle scenes, and if you haven't seen it, check it out. Well, I'm out to go play with my new camera, I'll rap at you later.
