낙지볶음 (Nakji Bokkum)

This my friends, is 낙지볶음. 낙지 is a small octopus, 볶음 means fried (pan fried, as opposed to deep fried), so this would be something like "fried small octopus." Normally I don't consume this, but it's not due to taste or creepiness factor, it's the fact that the tentacles are so chewy. The take an incredible ammount of time to properly masticate, and by the time they are ready to be swallowed, all the flavor is gone, and what's left is a tasteless mass of pulpy octopus flesh.
