Winter Cleaning & Recollections of Hooker Trading Cards
As of late I have been on an insane cleaning / reorganization frenzy (hence the copious ammounts of old Engrish and food pictures appearing as of late). Anyhow today I was cleaning up out on my verenda (yeah, I live in a one room apartment, but I have a verenda), when I came across a sack of hooker trading cards. "What are hooker trading cards?" you ask. These are hooker trading cards!

Hooker trading cards.
"Where did you get them and, perhaps more importantly, why do you have those things, Wyatt?"
Again these are good questions you guys are asking. To start off, these cards are placed outside sleazy hotels and on car windows outside of said hotels. Back when I lived in 봉천 (Bongcheon), my house was located close to these kinds of hotels, so therefore these cards were all of the streets near my apartment.
As for why I have them, back in 봉천, Darrell and I discussed how rediculous these cards were, and came up with the idea to create a memory game using these cards. So we would get drunk, and under the cover of darkness would collect these cards.
Aside from a demo version we created for a co-worker as a going away gift, we never got around to finishing a version for ourselves.
So I ended up with a bag full of these cards. Though I am much happier now that I have a girlfriend, and legitimate hobbies and passtimes, finding these cards made me a little sad. I kind of miss the excitement that we had when "a new card" hit the streets, or the drinking until all hours of the morning and walking several subway stations away attempting to find foreign cards.
C'est la vie.
