연근 (Yeon-geun)

연근 (蓮根 / yeon-geun). This is a lotus root prepared in soy sauce. Due to the fact that it is prepared in soy sauce this dish probably has some other name, but whatever. It is probably the most awesome looking vegetable I've ever seen in my life. In addition it is extremely delicious.
