Burst & Bloom

Since I'm not really what one would call a church goin' man, my Sundays are fairly uneventful afairs. Since the weather has warmed up I've taken to going on pointless walks around my neighborhood. Today I fired up my iPod (Death Cab For Cutie), grabbed my camera, and headed over to Yonsei University for some photography and walking. Oh yeah, it's spring now so that means there are a lot of blossoming trees and bushes...so enjoy some pictures of nature.

Aw isn't it pretty?

Some forsythia bushes. This things always remind me of my childhood, since growing up we had one of these bad boys in our yard. Ours was a lot bigger and more unruley than these though.

Sunday morning, trees in bloom, and the bulk of the population still hung over (I was on a college campus).

Some more trees. Unlike Japan, Korea doesn't make a big deal out of this, but since the Japanese celebration of blossoming trees isn't anything aside from an excuse to get drunk with family and friends, I'm not sure why they don't have a similar event.

After walking around for awhile I headed back to the homestead to give you this awesome assortment of pictures, and prepare for the day ahead...of doing absolutely nothing.
