Rock Show: Cherry Filter
What up yo! Yesterday was totally rockin'! Darrell and I attended a concert by the band known as Cherry Filter. They totally rocked! After the show we met said band and they signed some paraphenallia for us. It was totally awesome. The singer in that band is really hot, but the bass player is the superstar. It was totally fun, so now we have decided that we must go to some more shows...Club Drug here we come!

Here are the Rock Tigers. They were the opening act for the night, playing some sort of Elvis inspired punk rock. The woman in the band served no purpose other than wearing a short skirt and some high boots. Not that I'm complaining about such things.

Yoo-jin from Cherry Filter once more. She is rockin' the hotness. After the show Darrell and I met the band...she gave us autographs, and asks me, "Your name what is it's spell?" Awesome!

Here's Cherry Filter rocking out at Yonsei University on 11-14-03. They rocked really hard. It was boss.

The slow song that you are suppose to make out with your girlfriend during. Since a girlfriend was non-existant, Darrell busted out an American tradition at concerts and got the lighter going, until he broke it.

M.C. Sniper getting ready to rock out as a guest during the Cherry Filter show.

More rockin' out. Note the light sticks all the people weild in the crowd. For some reason in Korea, all shows are treated as if they were raves and light sticks are required.

Cherry Filter rockin' out with M.C. Sniper. This was the end of the first set...god they're like the Grateful Dead or something. Anyhow after this, there was an intermission during which M.C. Sniper performed some solo jam, and then the guy with glasses who was a motorcycle hood / fake college student on nonstop sang a couple songs. I took no pictures of him though because I went to the bathroom during his deal since I didn't care for it. His appearance did prove that in Korea everyone listens to every kind of music.

Seeing all the lightsticks in the audience, Cherry Filter felt obligated to cover the Prodigy song, "Smack my Bitch Up." Also covered during the night, "Bawidaba" (that kid rock song), an Alanis Morrisette song, that song "You're a God, and I am not, and I just want to let you know..." (by some sort of late 90's early 2000s 'alternative rock' band). This was the start of the second set.

Acoustic set. During this part they had some events in which some kid got a bass and some woman got some stickers and got to sit on the couch when they played a jam. It was pretty random.

Another shot of the crowd rocking out with light sticks. Techno Dance Party in full effect!

Here the drummer comes out from behind the kit to rock out on some Kid Rock song. Huge hats, pyro, and bad English rapping makes for a fun time for everyone! Oh thanks Darrell for this picture I totally stole from you.

Here's another shot of Cherry Filter going unplugged. I looted this from Darrell, since all my pictures disappeared when my computer crashed. Stupid internet!

The bass player during the encore. Speaking of encore, the audience pronounced it as EN-co EN-co...not as Ahn-core. For a time I thought they were saying ankle....but I dunno.
