25 Hours?

Stores here in Korea make all sorts of ludacris claim in an effort to drag some customers in. Here are some recent finds.


Ok, look at the building on the right...do you see the words 25시 Open? Yes? Good. Oh you don't know Korean? Sorry, lemme translate that for you. It means "25 hour open." I'm not really sure what that's all about, since I'm pretty sure after 24, they start over...unless they are just open 25 non-consecutive hours. Like in one week they are open 25 hours or something like that.


Best Store? The owners of this shop are a little full of themselves aren't they?

And now some straight up wackiness...


This is a picture of traditional farmer's music being played on the sidewalk in Shinchon. I was walking to the subway from my house and this was going on. The picture kind of sucks, but what can you do? These guys kind of go nuts while rocking out. It's totally awesome.
