새우깡 (Sae-Woo Kkang)

새우깡 (Sae-woo Kkang). 새우 is Korean for shrimp, which is what these crackers, or chips taste like. When I first arrived, I thought these were the oddest snack Korea had to offer. While I'm still not a fan, they are edible, and for some reason crave them from time to time. And here's a quick Korean lesson for you, 매운 (mae-un) means spicy...so in addition to being shrimp flavored, these chips (like the bulk of Korean snacks) are spicy.
